Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will be an essential member of the talented Documentation team, significantly contributing to Form3’s growth and scalability.

• Create and uphold API documentation for various payment services, ensuring it is accurate, clear, and easy to comprehend.

• Produce user-friendly technical documentation designed to meet the requirements of Form3’s internal and external stakeholders, including Product User Manuals, Technical Specifications, and Technical Tutorials.

• Spearhead efficient knowledge management initiatives using AI tools, ensuring that technical documentation evolves in tandem with Form3’s Products and Services.

• Maintain a centralized and well-organized repository, guaranteeing consistency and clarity across all technical documentation. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regularly revising content to ensure technical documentation aligns with Form3’s Products and Services.

• Oversee and manage Postman collections and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, ensuring all endpoint definitions and request/response schemas are synchronized with live documents.

• Collect feedback to continuously enhance and refine documentation, ensuring it meets real-user technical requirements. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, providing support for internal technical documentation needs and championing documentation best practices across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced in product documentation and content publishing.

• Over 1 year of experience in writing technical documentation, particularly for APIs, cloud-based software, or SaaS systems.

• Proficient with documentation tools such as Markdown, Swagger, and Postman, capable of producing high-quality materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable using AI prompting and cursor, with a willingness to engage with AI knowledge management tools.

• Familiar with Version Control Systems and Developer Platforms, including Git and GitHub.

• Solid understanding of coding, APIs, and cloud-based architectures.

• Exceptional attention to detail, with advanced skills in high-quality writing, proofreading, and editing.

• Fluent in written and spoken English (native level or equivalent).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in managing stakeholders and building relationships within remote, cross-functional teams.
