Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain user manuals, guides, online assistance content, and process documentation.

• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and subject matter experts to convert technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.

• Generate technical specifications, training materials, reports, and presentation content.

• Oversee documentation projects from start to finish, encompassing planning, writing, editing, and publication.

• Review and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and compliance with style guidelines.

• Update and maintain documentation in response to system changes, user feedback, and release cycles.

• Assist in usability testing efforts to confirm that documentation meets end-user requirements.

• Communicate updates, findings, and project statuses to stakeholders and business users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of professional experience in technical writing, documentation development, or content management within a technical setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.

• Experience in creating documentation for software systems, processes, or enterprise applications.

• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and documentation structuring abilities.

• Capability to manage documentation lifecycles from draft to publication.
