Technical Training Specialist – Heating Controls, HVAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and present technical training programs for both internal and external clients, focusing on heating and hydronic products, applications, systems, and industry standards.

• Stay informed about new HVAC and hydronic products that influence Resideo’s ability to enhance and leverage business opportunities both currently and in the future.

• Discover new opportunities for training development, aligning with sales and industry trends.

• Engage actively in the testing, evaluation, and launch of new products.

• Provide technical support as needed to sales teams and internal technical personnel.

• Offer on-site technical assistance as an escalation route for installations.

• Conduct on-site commissioning and system verification of initial security installations as necessary.

• Collaborate with the sales team to conduct regional training events that incorporate a blend of product and industry education.

• Proactively promote Resideo Academy within the region to foster growth and participation.

• Partner with business leaders to establish a network of colleges and schools for collaborative technical training initiatives.

• Design and deliver training courses across the Resideo portfolio as needed, covering potable water and potentially security systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in conducting technical training sessions or a background in education.

• Practical experience and knowledge of heating controls or HVAC products.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.

• A willingness to travel frequently across the UK, with the expectation of conducting up to three training sessions weekly.
