This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide expert technical leadership and support for our high-performance electron microscopy and analytical systems.
• Address intricate issues and assist team members in troubleshooting.
• Execute initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Act as a primary technical liaison among field service, R&D, operations engineering, and customers.
• Participate in the introduction of new products and the creation of technical documentation.
• Advanced degree with 6 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in a technical support, service, or engineering role involving complex analytical or scientific instrumentation.
• Preferred fields of study include Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of Gas Chromatography.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across various disciplines, including electronics, mechanics, vacuum systems, and software.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven project leadership skills and the ability to deliver on technical initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills using structured methodologies.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with global teams.
• Proficient in remote support tools and digital technologies.
• Possess a valid passport and a willingness to travel 5% of the time.
• Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience in supporting and mentoring team members.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
