Senior Support Engineer – SAP FICO, Finance, Controlling, Product Costing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert-level support for SAP FICO, with a strong focus on: Product Costing (CO-PC)

• Material Ledger

• Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting

• CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)

• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, including: Month-end close and controlling processes

• Costing and variance analysis

• Cross-module integrations (FI, MM, SD, PS)

• Conduct root cause analysis in highly customized SAP environments

• Provide support for SAP Project Systems (PS), including: WBS structures

• Project cost integration

• Collaborate directly with clients to: Identify issues

• Offer clear, actionable solutions

• Ensure a high-quality customer experience

• Work together with technical teams (e.g., ABAP, integrations) to address defects

• Develop and implement application fixes and data corrections

• Support global customers in a 24x7 support model, guaranteeing adherence to SLA

• Contribute to knowledge management, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SAP with a strong emphasis on FICO, particularly Controlling (CO)

• Strong practical knowledge of standard SAP FI operations (GL, AP, AR) to facilitate integration with CO

• Extensive hands-on expertise (mandatory): Product Costing (CO-PC)

• Material Ledger

• Proven ability to troubleshoot: Month-end close issues

• Costing variances and settlement processes

• Strong comprehension of: CO-FI integration

• Cross-functional processes (MM, SD, PS)

• Hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) configuration

• Experience in production support environments

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities, including the ability to debug complex issues

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

• Proven track record of working independently and within a global, virtual team
