This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Enter Point of Sale data, including menu items, pricing, discounts, employee credentials, venue layouts, and more.
• Follow stringent standards to ensure the integrity of system data.
• Troubleshoot device issues encompassing software, hardware, and peripheral accessories.
• Create user manuals to enhance operator understanding and usability of the system.
• Regularly and thoroughly test new software versions.
• Track the frequency of issues and escalate systemic problems as needed.
• Develop processes to complete support tasks with higher accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the on-call helpdesk hotline during peak support periods.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to users with diverse levels of technical skills.
• Travel to venues for software implementation and support.
• At least 1 year of experience in supporting Point of Sale systems, preferably with Appetize and/or Micros.
• Exceptional attention to detail in recognizing patterns and managing complex system data.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience in food and beverage operations, ideally within multi-location businesses.
• Strong problem-solving skills in troubleshooting complex issues with limited information.
• Ability to quickly reprioritize tasks without missing deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
• Proactively identify risks of missed deadlines and collaborate with teammates to redistribute tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of accounting practices, such as balancing finances and inventory.
• A degree or certificate in a technology-related field from an accredited institution is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, with potential for more during peak seasons (March – October).
