Technical Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to all clients utilizing a ticket-based case tracking system and knowledge base.

• Update, maintain, and implement modifications to client websites using HTML, CSS / LESS, and JavaScript (including the jQuery library).

• Address customer requests through chat, email, and both inbound and outbound calls.

• Resolve customer issues within a reasonable timeframe.

• Provide education and coaching on the InteractRV website platform to customers and colleagues as necessary.

• Engage in training sessions on emerging web technologies and product features.

• Develop content for the InteractRV Knowledge Base, catering to both internal and external users.

• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to manage low-level escalations.

• Offer a technical support experience that exceeds customer expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust working knowledge of HTML, CSS / LESS or SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, as well as concepts like layout design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.

• Strong understanding of mobile-first, responsive web design, and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Flexbox.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Prior customer service experience (2+ years preferred).

• Previous experience in web development (1+ years preferred).

• Comfortable working in a team environment and managing frequent interruptions.

• Clear speaking voice with good telephone skills.
