This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical support to Procelys customers via on-site visits, presentations, and product training to maximize the effectiveness of our solutions.
• Evaluate customer feedback and technical challenges to inform product development, enhancements, and competitive strategy.
• Educate and assist Business Managers on application specifics, product efficacy, and technical selling advantages.
• Diagnose product performance issues in partnership with cross-functional teams to provide actionable recommendations.
• Function as the primary technical liaison and project leader among commercial, applications, and quality teams.
• Foster technical collaborations with academic institutions and research organizations to assess product performance.
• Serve as the regional technical authority, cultivating relationships with key clients and pursuing new business ventures.
• Stay engaged in technical networks to facilitate industry knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
• Keep abreast of industry innovations and technological advancements, supplying quarterly landscape reports to management.
• Represent Procelys at regional technical conferences through lectures and presentations.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D/Fermentation Management or Application Development within the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences sectors.
• Capability to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the Biotechnology landscape (including food and feed bio-ingredients, biopharma, cultures, probiotics, bio-agriculture, and renewable chemicals).
• Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time within the Americas.
