This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver remote technical assistance for automated material handling, logistics, and fulfillment systems.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues related to PLCs, SCADA systems, electrical controls, software applications, and mechanical equipment.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and address production-critical problems promptly and efficiently.
• Assist customers, field technicians, vendors, and internal teams in troubleshooting and recovery efforts.
• Use electrical schematics, PLC code, SCADA platforms, technical documentation, and system diagrams to pinpoint root causes and implement corrective measures.
• Execute or supervise system modifications to enhance performance, reliability, and uptime.
• Oversee support cases from the initial issue identification to final resolution, ensuring regular communication and updates throughout the issue's lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism while assisting customers during high-pressure operational situations.
• Operate independently and efficiently in a remote setting with minimal oversight.
• Take part in a rotating weekend on-call schedule as an escalation resource.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in supporting material handling, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or industrial automation systems.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with electrical controls, PLCs, automation systems, software, and/or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong foundation in industrial automation and controls support is essential.
• Experience in supporting live production or operational systems is highly desirable.
• Previous roles in commissioning, controls engineering, field service, technical support, or related automation-focused positions are preferred.
• Remote technical assistance for automated material handling, logistics, and fulfillment systems.
• Participation in a weekend on-call support rotation is required.
