This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee system performance and health to guarantee availability and efficiency.
• Detect incidents, conduct preliminary troubleshooting, and escalate issues as per established protocols.
• Accurately document incidents, the actions taken, and their results.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of monitoring tools like Grafana and GroundCover/DataDog, including their dashboards.
• Adhere to established runbooks and procedures for uniform event management.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strive for continuous improvement in system reliability.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Basic understanding of Linux administration, including file systems, permissions, processes, and networking fundamentals.
• Practical experience with Docker/Kubernetes, covering container/pod management, basic image handling, logs, and troubleshooting.
• Basic familiarity with Ansible language concepts, including registers, memory layouts, and low-level operations.
• Proficient with command-line tools, SSH, and standard system utilities.
• Capable of following procedures and accurately escalating issues.
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours on-call duties as part of an existing on-call rotation.
