This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as the intermediary between EarthDaily's Sales team and the Software Engineering and Product departments.
• Ensure that potential customers grasp how EarthDaily’s data, analytics platforms, and AI-driven insights align with their operational requirements.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-concept initiatives that directly contribute to revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with Sales team members to evaluate opportunities.
• Create and present engaging technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, and proposals that correspond to customer workflows and use cases.
• Accurately respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical inquiries with a keen understanding of commercial implications.
• Perform needs assessments to identify technical requirements and objectives.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with technical stakeholders.
• Work alongside Product and Software Engineering teams to convey customer feedback and ensure competitive solutions.
• Coordinate with Customer Success Managers to guarantee smooth technical transitions after the sale.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Software Engineering, Geography/GIS, Physics/Applied Math, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or geospatial consulting capacity within the remote sensing, geospatial, or Earth observation sectors.
• Previous experience in a technical pre-sales role within the commercial Earth observation industry may be given preference.
• Candidates with experience in one or more of EarthDaily’s target verticals may receive priority consideration.
• Practical experience with commercial Earth observation and related geospatial data formats, tools, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language or scripting environment (Python is preferred).
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in or support of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in Earth observation (e.g., change detection, object classification, time-series analysis).
