This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as a consultant for Conti Life Cycle (CLC) Partners during pre-installation consulting and approval processes.

• Collaborate with CLC Partner contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to the production schedule during installation.

• Provide guidance on necessary plant installation requirements, including power, electricity, compressors, transformers, and more.

• Partner on the Project Management Plan (PMP) for equipment and parts.

• Assist CLC partners with equipment operation, process execution, and maintenance training.

• Create and implement the retreading quality process.

• Responsible for delivering technical support for all Digital Solutions products to customers, including fleets and dealers.

• Aid in installations, demonstrations, and training sessions.

• Offer consultation on equipment design, layout, and installation to optimize retreading operations.

• Implement and train on tracking systems for each retreading tire within the shop, including all statistical data for the retreading process to develop improvement plans.

• Support CLC partners in training their plant personnel.

• Provide technical assistance for machine and process-related issues.

• Ensure the availability of every equipment manual, which includes spare parts, setup procedures, maintenance checks, etc. Develop and execute the retreading quality process by assessing each step using the MER tool, evaluating equipment accuracy, conducting thermocouple tests, and performing final tire evaluations.

• Assist with installations, demonstrations, sales support, and training primarily for Digital Solutions products.

• Support and/or lead training sessions on the installation and technical usability of all Digital Solutions products for Continental employees.

• Conduct CT2 analyses with customers to aid Technical Customer Service field engineers and product management teams in gathering data from tires installed in customer vehicles.

• Collaborate with the Key Account Support team and Area Sales Manager to introduce and maintain Digital Solutions products in the market.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Engineering, with 2+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of pertinent experience without a Bachelor's Degree.

• Professional experience in the retreading process, plant layouts, and equipment installations.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical mindset.

• Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in project management.

• Willingness to travel extensively within Canada (50 - 75%).

• Valid passport and driver's license.
