This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• You will take charge of developing enterprise-level solutions based on AI, ML, and Data Science.
• Your role will involve selecting technologies, designing APIs, and establishing foundational patterns in our products and client projects.
• You will evaluate both functional and non-functional requirements to guide these decisions and lead our development team in their implementation.
• Collaborating with our exceptional Data Science and Data Engineering teams, you will deliver robust, high-quality, cloud-based solutions for our customers.
• Our technical architects are expected to validate solutions, contribute to the development team, review code, and enhance our development practices and processes.
• This position involves direct engagement with clients and business stakeholders, who will have a mix of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• As an architect, you will be expected to exemplify this by introducing innovative ideas to our projects while also listening to and evaluating suggestions from the team.
• A strong proficiency in Java, Typescript, and/or Python, which are currently our primary cloud programming languages.
• Industry experience with an Infrastructure-as-Code platform (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
• A robust understanding of serverless development and containerization strategies for deploying software in the cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure), including familiarity with suitable technologies for various use cases.
• Proven experience in creating enterprise-quality solutions, with a thorough understanding of how enterprise software fits within a broader technical environment.
• A solid grasp of traditional Design Patterns and the capability to adapt these concepts for the AI domain.
• A strong advocate for rigorous quality processes, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Excellent written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical and abstract concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in developing robust CI/CD pipelines that fully automate testing and release workflows.
