This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Train, mentor, and inspire team members to meet departmental performance objectives and goals.
• Provide coaching and constructive feedback.
• Act as a technical resource for premium auditors and collaborate with underwriting, accounting, and collections.
• Examine audits for accuracy and compliance, recommending enhancements as necessary.
• Address and respond to feedback from the bureau.
• Manage Test Audit Programs and bureau reporting.
• Conduct highly intricate Commercial Lines audits for workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto insurance policies.
• Assess insured operations and scrutinize payroll records, tax returns/filings, and general/expense ledgers to determine final exposures.
• Validate class codes in accordance with regulatory bodies, state bureaus, and company protocols.
• Foster internal and external business relationships to meet client expectations.
• Communicate with business partners regarding disputes, escalations, and business requirements.
• Extensive experience and technical knowledge of NCCI, WCRIB, and ISO manuals.
• Strong decision-making skills in managing complex audit scenarios while adhering to bureau rules and regulations.
• Over 7 years of experience in premium audit or insurance audit.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and workload management skills.
• Proven experience thriving in a remote work environment.
• APA certification is advantageous.
• Knowledge and experience with NEXUSAudit™ are highly preferred.
