This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Offer troubleshooting support for commercial Heavy Applied chillers (17, 19, 23 series) in the US market through phone, electronic communication, and/or on-site visits.
• Collaborate with Factory Engineering and Quality teams in Charlotte, NC, and China (YLC), along with other internal stakeholders, to collect and provide data necessary for resolving technical issues.
• Aid in the creation of training materials as needed for technical meetings directed at customers, as well as for Carrier Commercial Service or Direct Sales Offices.
• Negotiate and manage all outstanding disputed warranty claims for Heavy Applied chillers (17, 19, 23 series) installed at customer locations across various regions in the US and international markets.
• Provide insights and assist management in evaluating warranty and other quality concerns identified in the field to promote quality enhancements, reduce warranty parts per million (ppm), and manage warranty expenditures.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Over 3 years of experience in the Technical Field with Centrifugal and Screw Chillers.
• More than 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to provide on-site training and/or conduct job site visits.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in troubleshooting all components of commercial Heavy Applied HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of warranty data and systems.
• Proven experience in delivering technical presentations and training sessions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure and challenging situations.
