Technical Service Engineer – Czechia, Praha Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Conducting routine maintenance and repair operations on laboratory equipment and systems to guarantee optimal functionality and prolonged service life.

• Detecting and evaluating technical issues in devices and systems, performing troubleshooting, and executing necessary repairs.

• Setting up and commissioning new equipment, including training laboratory staff on its proper usage and operation.

• Offering technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.

• Meticulously documenting all work performed, including service reports and technical documentation.

• Overseeing the procurement, replacement, and inventory of spare parts as required.

• Ensuring all equipment complies with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Organizing the delivery and installation of equipment to laboratories or medical facilities.

• Assisting the sales team by participating in national trade fairs and congresses, while fostering close collaboration with sales colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Residing in the Prague region.

• Completed education in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or a similar technical field.

• Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of laboratory diagnostic equipment, preferably in the medical technology or laboratory sector.

• Strong technical skills with the ability to swiftly comprehend and troubleshoot complex systems.

• A self-driven, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of personal initiative.

• Excellent communication abilities, both when interacting with clients and collaborating within a team setting.

• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and adaptability to support various customer locations as needed.

• Proficient in IT, including MS Office, service software, and familiarity with laboratory or practice information systems.
