Technical SAP EWM Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain the interfaces between SAP EWM and various third-party systems, including WCS, TMS, ERP, and carrier systems.

• Implement integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and middleware solutions (SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft).

• Ensure the precise and timely transfer of master data, transactional data, and status updates between SAP EWM and external systems.

• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing for automated processes and interfaces.

• Create custom enhancements utilizing ABAP, BADIs, user exits, and other integration methods.

• Design and implement RF frameworks, EDI/IDoc interfaces, and integrations with third-party logistics systems.

• Execute system configuration, conduct custom code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues.

• Define technical standards, create design documentation, and develop architecture blueprints.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the implementation and support phases.

• Assist in project planning, resource estimation, and effort forecasting for EWM technical tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience with EWM ABAP.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following areas:

• - PPF Actions (Post Processing Framework)

• - RF Framework applications; Screen Personas

• - Enhancements for Warehouse Monitor

• - WOCR (Warehouse Order Creation Rules)

• - Cartonization processes

• - Replenishment strategies

• - Putaway strategies

• - Custom reports, interfaces, and forms

• - Implementation of BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, and custom frameworks.
