This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in customer interactions by translating business and technical needs into actionable solution strategies.
• Engage in technical pre-sales efforts, aiding in solution discussions with clients.
• Take part in customer workshops, discovery sessions, and presentations.
• Help convey how Vidispine solutions can meet business and operational requirements.
• Aid in the development of proposals, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to convert requirements into solution designs.
• Contribute to architectural concepts associated with media asset management, workflows, and integrations.
• Support solution planning for cloud or hybrid environments.
• Assist in the creation of high-level designs and documentation, such as architecture outlines and scope descriptions.
• Help identify opportunities within both current and potential customer bases.
• Work alongside account teams to advance opportunities through the sales process.
• Engage in discussions regarding customer use cases and possible solution strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to relay insights derived from customer interactions.
• Support alignment between customer demands and product capabilities.
• Provide feedback that aids in shaping product enhancements and priorities.
• Stay updated on advancements in media technology, including streaming, cloud platforms, and content workflows.
• Participate in internal discussions concerning market trends and solution positioning.
• Contribute to materials and dialogues that effectively communicate Vidispine’s offerings.
• Proven experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Background in working with software platforms, system integrations, or technical solutions.
• Familiarity with media, video, or content workflows is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, or service-oriented architectures.
• Understanding of cloud-based or hybrid environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to media technologies such as video processing, streaming, or asset management systems is a plus.
• Comprehension of sales processes or experience assisting in customer interactions.
• Capability to collaborate with customer-facing teams and contribute to solution discussions.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• A collaborative mindset for working across teams and functions.
• Structured thinking and adept problem-solving abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Media Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Eligibility to work in the country of residence is required.
• Occasional travel may be necessary for customer engagements or industry events.
