This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of claims to identify any discrepancies based on industry standards.
• Collaborate with adjusters and contractors to address work executed beyond industry norms.
• Gather comprehensive claim documentation, including moisture readings, sketches, photographs, and other relevant records.
• Review discrepancies with contractors to distinguish between compliant and non-compliant work.
• Generate estimates and sketches using Xactimate to support claims resolution.
• Engage in final discussions with contractors to finalize agreed-upon claim settlement amounts.
• Prepare written review summaries adhering to IICRC standards for submission to carriers.
• Receive, input, and oversee insured-hired claims, including follow-up on documentation until transitioning to Technical Review.
• Collaborate with supervisors and senior team members to ensure appropriate handling of claims.
• Record claim details and outcomes in company systems for monitoring and reporting purposes.
• Comply with company and departmental policies.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, or a combination of education, training, and experience equivalent.
• Comprehensive understanding of company products, services, and business processes.
• Prior experience in a 24/7/365 call center environment.
• Availability to work overtime or flexible hours during peak periods and disaster events.
• Capacity to work independently while seeking assistance as necessary.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Ability to manage conflicts professionally and courteously.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Excellent verbal, electronic, and written communication skills.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and various departments.
• Dependability in fulfilling work commitments.
• Adaptability and flexibility to changing situations.
• Proficient in using technological devices, software, and applications.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
• Access to reliable high-speed home broadband internet with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Ability to connect to home internet via an ethernet cord while working remotely.
