Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of Java full-stack and AI-driven engineering teams, ensuring reliable and high-quality results.

• Act as the main client liaison for delivery, promoting effective communication, alignment, and expectation management.

• Conduct Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement) with an emphasis on flow, clarity, and ongoing improvement.

• Work closely with Technical Leads, Architects, and engineers to decompose complex requirements into actionable tasks.

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles, driving resolution across teams and stakeholders.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance planning, estimation, documentation, and overall delivery efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, testing, observability, and secure development.

• Provide clear and concise reports on progress, risks, and outcomes for both internal and client stakeholders.

• Lead technical discovery sessions and assist in converting business needs into structured requirements.

• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement among distributed teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in technical project management, Agile delivery, or as a Scrum Master.

• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices, especially in Java, Spring Boot, and full-stack development environments.

• Experience in working with or supporting teams that build AI-enabled features or integrate AI/ML services.

• Demonstrated ability to directly partner with clients, manage expectations, and lead complex technical initiatives.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in adapting them to real-world scenarios.

• Capability to translate technical concepts into straightforward business language and vice versa.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices is an advantage.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational abilities.

• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to navigate uncertainty and promote clarity.
