This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Initiate projects from the ground up, establishing clear scope, objectives, success metrics, governance frameworks, and operational methods from the outset.
• Create and sustain project governance documents (charter, RACI, RAID, decision log, integrated plan) as dynamic tools.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams across business, technology, vendors, and operations, uniting contributors towards common goals and timelines.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, encompassing milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths across various workstreams.
• Foster accountability and ownership, ensuring that workstream leads and vendors are responsible for delivery rather than the project manager.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns early with clear options and recommendations for leadership.
• Conduct effective governance meetings (SteerCo, working sessions, executive reviews) with well-defined agendas, necessary decisions, and documented outcomes.
• Deliver concise executive reports, translating project delivery status into business impact, identifying risks, decisions required, and outlining next steps.
• Ensure alignment with strategy, budget, and roadmap, confirming that project delivery meets agreed-upon priorities and value realization.
• Close projects methodically, including transitioning to operations, knowledge transfer, post-launch support planning, and capturing lessons learned.
• 5-6 years of practical experience in technical project management.
• Proven track record in delivering complex technology projects on schedule within a consulting or agency context.
• Strong understanding of various technology stacks and the capability to engage effectively with engineering teams.
• Exceptional communication skills — able to convey ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
