This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary lead for technical planning, execution, coordination, and reporting related to FAA infrastructure support services.
• Deliver technical project management assistance to the Program Office by leading feasibility studies, preparing program documentation, organizing briefings for executives and stakeholders, aiding in project issue resolution, and coordinating project activities across engineering, logistics, operational, and information security divisions.
• Function within a mission-driven environment that upholds secure FAA operational data and mission-critical infrastructure services for federal stakeholders.
• Regularly interface with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Program Manager, technical personnel, and Government stakeholders to ensure that work is documented, traceable, timely, and aligned with FAA operational objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, document outcomes, and prepare both technical and administrative documentation to support FAA initiatives, program decisions, and subsequent actions.
• Create informational briefings for the COR, Program Manager, management, and stakeholders, including quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) that present project details, staffing summaries, financial overviews, achievements, action item statuses, and performance updates.
• Oversee project resources, costs, timelines, scope, staffing, and performance to ensure that activities stay aligned with task expectations and operational priorities.
• Track, maintain, and assist in resolving project issues within the FAA’s ticket tracking system to ensure timely accountability and resolution.
• Engage in high-level meetings with FAA stakeholders and management, coordinating the necessary materials, logistics, and administrative artifacts to support these sessions.
• Prepare and disseminate presentation materials, meeting notifications, attendance lists, room reservations, and other supporting coordination products for PMRs, technical interchanges, product demonstrations, and other Government-directed events.
• Develop draft and final briefing materials in formats approved by the COR and prepare meeting minutes for Government review, revision, approval, and distribution.
• Assist with engineering, validation, and design activities that enhance development accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate across systems engineering, database engineering, network engineering, logistics, and information security support activities to ensure that program actions remain integrated and traceable across the Statement of Work (SOW) task structure.
• Provide support for product evaluation and recommendations regarding hardware, software, equipment spares, and replacements, and coordinate deployment-related planning as needed by the Program Office.
• Assist in the documentation of security measures, vulnerability reporting, remediation tracking, and risk-related program actions in accordance with FAA Order 1370.121B and associated security requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of briefings, meeting minutes, feasibility studies, PMR documentation, project documentation, and other written deliverables identified in the SOW end-results section.
• Ensure that information is delivered in approved formats to support Government review, decision-making, traceability, and adherence to schedules.
• Collaborate with technical staff to ensure that status reports accurately capture progress in engineering, logistics actions, emergent risks, and cross-functional dependencies impacting execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or a similar project/program management certification.
• Relevant experience that directly reflects project management functions such as project planning, schedule management, dependency analysis, resource allocation, baseline management, status monitoring, and related project management activities.
• Proven experience supporting technical, engineering, infrastructure, or operational projects that require coordination among multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Proficiency in coding, Confluence, and Jira.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance throughout the entire performance period.
• US citizenship is required.
