This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct technical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, operations, and stakeholders, to establish project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.
• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans, timelines, status updates, RAID logs, and communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and projects on course.
• Manage resources, coordinate meetings, resolve issues, and proactively eliminate obstacles to facilitate successful project execution.
• Monitor progress against commitments, handle scope adjustments, and escalate risks or challenges as necessary to guarantee project completion.
• Assist in process enhancement initiatives and help implement project management best practices, tools, and standards throughout the team.
• Contribute to Business Development activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• More than ten (10) years of experience in technical project management, program management, or similar roles within a technology setting.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or an equivalent project or program management certification is mandatory.
• Over three (3) years of experience managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services agencies, with a focus on Child Welfare being preferable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Strong organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record of prioritizing competing demands.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft ADO.
• Experience in enterprise platform or cloud-based technology settings.
• Background in leading large-scale or highly complex technical projects.
• Ability to analyze data and create executive-level reports and presentations.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must secure approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to joining Guidehouse.
