Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical workstreams across various simultaneous Infor ERP projects that facilitate enterprise cloud migrations and implementations, while managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

• Identify and spearhead initiatives to tackle complex technical challenges.

• Manage and coordinate the activities conducted by technical consultants within the project framework.

• Direct the data strategy effectively.

• Convert intricate client business requirements into clear and precise technical specifications.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to oversee cloud environments, development/testing sandboxes, and production deployment cycles.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between client IT directors, internal developers, functional consultants, and third-party software providers.

• Define project scope, develop detailed technical work breakdown structures (WBS), and outline dependencies and resource distribution.

• Work alongside Project Managers and Program Managers to ensure adherence to project schedules and budget execution.

• Proactively recognize technical risks, design issues, or performance bottlenecks, formulating mitigation strategies before they affect timelines.

• Assist with client training, adoption, and post-go-live transitions as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• At least 5+ years of direct experience managing multiple mid-to-large-scale Infor Cloudsuite implementations from the service provider/consulting perspective.

• Previous professional experience as a software engineer, database administrator, or systems analyst is strongly preferred.

• Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum as well as traditional Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-ACP certification is highly advantageous.
