Technical Project Lead – Customer Value Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the technical and operational aspects of international rollout projects for enterprise and corporate clients.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage rollouts across various locations, countries, and time zones.

• Organize project phases, including timelines, dependencies, and key milestones.

• Execute software installations, configurations, and commissioning, both remotely and occasionally on-site.

• Handle the technical setup and integration of devices, machinery, and automation systems.

• Integrate common automation and control systems such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, and Rockwell.

• Collaborate with customer IT, OT, engineering, and management teams.

• Provide training and enablement sessions for administrators, key users, and rollout teams.

• Actively identify risks, deviations, and optimization opportunities throughout the project's lifecycle.

• Work closely with sales, product management, and support to ensure long-term customer success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training, or a technician qualification, or a degree in Automation, Electrical, Information or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Extensive experience in technical project management, including rollout planning, technical setup, and customer coordination.

• Strong understanding of automation technology, such as SIMATIC (S7, TIA Portal, HMI, PCS7) and other controller families (e.g., Schneider Electric, Rockwell).

• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols like Ethernet, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, or similar.

• Excellent IT and networking knowledge, with an understanding of IT/OT interfaces.

• Experience in implementing or supporting software or automation projects.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills, both written and spoken, for international projects.

• Structured, methodical, and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor when interacting with customers.

• High customer and service orientation, along with a strong sense of teamwork.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, depending on project requirements.
