Technical Product Manager – Specialty Core Platform

📋 Description

• Develop and communicate a technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with Specialty business priorities and organizational goals.

• Establish and nurture effective, collaborative relationships with business and IT stakeholders to guarantee transparency, mutual understanding, and shared objectives.

• Lead the collection and prioritization of requirements, ensuring that stakeholder needs are consistently represented.

• Manage cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to delivery and ongoing optimization.

• Facilitate the transition of in-house solutions to third-party models, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with strategic outcomes.

• Track product performance using defined metrics, solicit feedback, and implement continuous enhancements.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Act as the technical product manager and subject matter expert for the core platform's architecture, configuration, integrations, and ongoing performance.

• Design and validate solution architectures including data models, APIs, workflow configurations, and integration with enterprise platforms.

• Collaborate with vendor teams to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions, participating in design reviews and solution planning.

• Lead intricate engineering initiatives including data migration design, environment configuration, interface development, and platform extensions.

• Establish and enforce engineering best practices such as coding standards, testing approaches, documentation, and utilization of AI.

• Assist project delivery teams by creating technical blueprints, estimating development efforts, and mitigating technical risks.

• Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues, including root-cause analysis and remediation.

• Provide technical mentorship to engineers and cross-functional team members, fostering internal expertise around the new platform.

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, and tech operations teams to ensure solution compliance with company standards.

• Inform the evolution of the platform roadmap by evaluating new features, upgrades, and enhancements for both existing and future business needs.

• Support change management initiatives by contributing to the change readiness process, documentation, and communication.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in product management, program management, or related roles.

• Experience interacting with both business and IT stakeholders, particularly in multi-year transformation programs.

• Familiarity with best practices in third-party vendor management and technology integration.

• Over 4 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a technical product management, senior engineering, or architecture-focused role.

• Extensive knowledge in designing and supporting complex data-integration ecosystems involving Kafka, APIGEE, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Postgres, and Snowflake, including selecting suitable integration patterns based on latency, state-change, and multi-recipient requirements.

• Hands-on experience in designing and integrating COTS (commercial off-the-shelf platforms), preferably in healthcare or highly regulated environments.

• Practical experience in designing and integrating cloud solutions, with familiarity in Microsoft Azure.

• Strong proficiency in integration patterns, API design, data modeling, and workflow configuration.

• Demonstrated expertise in leading engineering teams, reviewing solutions, and enforcing technical standards.

• Solid understanding of healthcare data, compliance, and security frameworks.

• Experience in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
