Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold a Technical Health strategy for Dentrix, ensuring alignment with long-term platform stability and contemporary security standards.

• Take ownership of the technical health roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that enhance performance, minimize disruptions, and bolster customer trust.

• Propel enhancements in performance, uptime, and system resilience across essential platform functionalities.

• Identify, prioritize, and address technical risks and systemic debt.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to utilize existing capabilities and create new tools that tackle performance and reliability challenges.

• Define and monitor success metrics related to technical debt reduction, system performance, and security posture.

• Convert intricate technical systems into straightforward, actionable product direction.

• Manage the entire product lifecycle – from discovery to delivery and ongoing optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• 4+ years of experience in Technical Product Management within on-premise or SaaS environments.

• Familiarity with system architecture, APIs, and concepts of platform engineering.

• Experience in defining and implementing technical health or reliability roadmaps.

• Demonstrated capability to work cross-functionally and align stakeholders on intricate technical projects.

• Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on process, measurement, and results.

• Proficiency in translating technical complexity into clear insights for executives.

• Exceptional communication and influencing skills across engineering and leadership teams.

• A proactive approach towards ownership, accountability, and achieving outcomes rather than merely outputs.

• Capacity to impose structure on ambiguity and foster clarity in complex settings.
