This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct technical enablement sessions for a wide range of audiences, including customers, partners, and internal Cisco employees, both in-person and remotely, focusing on Cisco’s DC Networking portfolio.
• Communicate Cisco’s DC Networking messaging and strategy, emphasizing the solutions provided by the portfolio.
• Create technical marketing materials such as white papers, solution briefs, case studies, and technical presentations.
• Design and validate customer-facing demonstrations, lab experiences, and video content using beta and EFT code, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.
• Write and deliver thought leadership materials, including blog posts, webinars, and conference presentations.
• Work alongside product and marketing teams to establish messaging and positioning for DC networking solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and technical marketing to refine product requirements and solutions, ensuring consistency across the portfolio.
• Develop persona-driven solution narratives targeted at specific buying centers, such as NetOps, SecOps, platform engineering, and AI infrastructure teams.
• Actively engage in roadmap discussions, feature reviews, and internal meetings to influence the future direction of products.
• Work with product management and technical marketing to monitor customer and partner feedback and product enhancements, from initial testing to final external enablement.
• Represent Cisco’s DC Networking business unit at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as a technical advocate.
• Act as a representative for Cisco's DCN business unit during analyst engagements, including Tech Field Days and industry analyst briefings, to affirm market leadership and technical strategy.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to cultivate relationships and promote the company’s solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with over 10 years of experience in Technical Marketing, Network Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or a similar technical role.
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware (e.g., switches, NICs, DPUs).
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VXLAN, RDMA, etc.
• Experience with various software-defined network controllers and other automation technologies.
• Proficient in Cisco’s DC networking technologies, including Cisco ACI, VXLAN EVPN, NX-OS, and Nexus Hyperfabric.
• Familiarity with network security principles, segmentation, policy enforcement, and workload protection in data center and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, automation tools, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
