This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical project activities and guarantee successful project implementation from design through to commissioning.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the customer and our project execution team.

• Facilitate technical meetings with customers, including kickoff sessions, specification clarifications, and design evaluations.

• Engage in project risk and opportunity assessments, manage project budgets in terms of allocated man-days for engineering tasks, and provide regular progress reports.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager on project planning, risk management, and handling change requests.

• Analyze customer specifications, create project technical documentation, validate technical solutions with clients, and ensure compliance with project document control.

• Specify software and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), manage technical execution planning, and ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety protocols.

• Address technical inconsistencies, manage fault reports, and support site engineers either remotely or on-site.

• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests, coordinating with commissioning teams for significant site milestones.

• Deliver project-specific training to customers, assist tendering and commercial teams, and ensure client satisfaction through exemplary project execution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Protection & Control Systems or Energy Management Solutions design engineering for utilities and industrial sectors, ideally within Grid Automation.

• Relevant experience in Electric Power Distribution Automation, Process Bus, Substation Digitization, Monitoring & Diagnostics, Asset Performance Management (APM), Device Management (DvM), or Cybersecurity Management.

• Proficient in designing and programming electrical control systems, including SCADA/HMI, cybersecurity measures, network equipment, IEC61850, Firewalls, and more.

• Fluent in English.

• Willingness to travel 30% within the U.S. and Canada.
