Technical Lead, Soporte N2, Transporte

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Team management: Coordination of shifts, training, and development of the N2 support team.

• Management of remote support teams.

• Promote a collaborative and continuous improvement environment.

• Address and resolve Level 2 (N2) incidents within the transmission and transport network of the operator.

• Diagnosis and analysis of failures in DWDM, OTN, and SDN infrastructures.

• Provide technical support to operations, deployment, and engineering teams.

• Execute provisioning, modification, and decommissioning activities for transport services.

• Coordinate with manufacturers and N3 support groups to resolve complex incidents.

• Manage the complete cycle of incidents using corporate ticketing tools.

• Validate and monitor scheduled work, migrations, and maintenance windows.

• Develop and update technical documentation and operational procedures.

• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in team management and coordination.

• Experience in operation, support, and incident resolution on optical transmission and transport networks.

• Knowledge of DWDM, CWDM, and OTN transmission architectures.

• Experience with optical transport equipment from manufacturers such as Nokia, Ciena, Infinera, and Huawei.

• Knowledge of networking technologies: SDH/PDH, DWDM/ROADM, OTN (Optical Transport Network), Ethernet Carrier.

• Intermediate to advanced level of English.
