Technical Lead I – Data Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Supervise and mentor a team of developers and architects to create comprehensive data solutions.

• Enhance the technical skills and business knowledge of the team.

• Analyze and identify opportunities to improve existing solutions for greater efficiency.

• Lead the upgrade of outdated flat-file integrations by designing and implementing cloud-native data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps, and Azure SQL.

• Engage in planning to address the organization's future technological requirements.

• Facilitate the shift from conventional flat-file inbound/outbound processes to API-driven integration models.

• Utilize best practices and industry standards to strategize and deploy Holman solutions.

• Accountable for the initial training of new employees and the continuous development of assigned team members.

• Encourage the growth and advancement of assigned staff and conduct performance evaluations.

• Assign tasks and establish deadlines.

• Define clear team objectives, monitor performance, and report on key metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or IT is preferred.

• Practical experience in application development.

• Advanced hands-on expertise with .NET Core and Entity Framework Core.

• Familiarity with Azure resources and architecture.

• Extensive experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development patterns, version control, and deployment pipelines.

• Advanced understanding of data movement and transformation processes.

• Hands-on experience in data modeling.

• Proficiency in using ETL tools.

• Experience with or knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Tools.

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in application development.

• Experience in supporting CI/CD processes, specifically with Azure DevOps pipelines for .NET, API, Azure Function Apps, and ADF deployments.

• Must possess design experience and a proven record of leading design initiatives.

• Strong analytical abilities, capable of effectively resolving issues promptly.

• Ability to convert high-level cloud strategies into practical technical directives.
