Technical Lead, Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical execution of client projects throughout 2-week sprint cycles — from initiation to deployment

• Design and develop full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React (including React Native when projects require)

• Conduct sprint demonstrations and presentations directly with clients

• Manage daily client communications via Slack and email — providing updates, clarifications, and setting expectations

• Contribute to technical proposals, project scoping, and estimations for new engagements

• Make practical architectural and technology choices that balance speed and quality

• Establish the technical standards for the team — conduct code reviews, set standards, and mentor other engineers on your projects

• Integrate AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as a fundamental part of your daily operations

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead or senior role on a team or project

• Extensive, up-to-date, hands-on proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React — you have successfully delivered production web applications from start to finish

• Outstanding English communication skills — both written and verbal. You can articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical founders, craft clear client updates, and confidently participate in demos or scoping discussions. This is essential; you will engage with clients from day one.

• Daily, hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) — you know how to leverage them for speed without compromising quality

• Demonstrated self-management — you have experience working in fully remote, low-supervision environments and have delivered results without direct oversight

• Experience in client-facing roles — you have presented work, facilitated demos, or communicated directly with clients or external stakeholders
