This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for expediting vulnerability remediation and patching efforts throughout the server infrastructure.

• Oversee server infrastructure utilizing Windows Server versions 2016, 2019, and 2022.

• Work collaboratively to improve end-user computing and specialized non-server devices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10 years of extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server versions 2016/2019/2022 in enterprise settings.

• Demonstrated success in driving vulnerability remediation and patch management for Windows servers.

• Proficiency with Qualys (or similar vulnerability scanning tools), including the ability to interpret results, validate false positives, and confirm closure.

• Experience in automation using Chef and/or Ansible within production Windows server environments.

• Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell; with the capacity to use and maintain shell scripting where relevant in the environment).

• Working knowledge of Ruby (or the ability to maintain and extend existing Ruby codebases used for Chef remediation).

• Solid understanding of Windows security principles (including patching, services, permissions, registry, authentication, and TLS/cipher considerations as applicable).

• Experience in change management, incident/problem management, and coordination across multiple support teams.
