Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Convert user stories and business requirements into concise, organized functional specifications and technical documentation for development teams.

• Create web service interfaces and generate comprehensive API specifications, including service operations, request/response formats, field types, and edge-case scenarios.

• Examine, test, and prioritize defects, while assisting in the coordination and planning of releases for the Integration Systems team.

• Serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams — fostering discussions and ensuring the progress of integration and web service tasks.

• Deliver insightful assessments and estimates addressing scope, assumptions, risks, and effort to aid in planning and resource allocation.

• Advocate for data integrity and enhance customer experience by identifying opportunities for process and performance enhancements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve common goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in building and supporting applications on a BSS/OSS COTS platform (e.g., NetCracker).

• More than 5 years of experience in developing complex enterprise applications.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with core Java.

• A minimum of 5 years writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL queries.

• More than 3 years of experience in building REST APIs.

• At least 3 years of experience working with cloud-based development.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing practices.

• Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management, including service, release, and change management.

• Proficient in leading root cause analysis, risk assessment/mitigation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
