Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across application support, maintenance, and enhancement initiatives.

• Design and supervise the architecture for Java (Spring, Tomcat) and .NET-based applications.

• Ensure that systems are adequately maintained, updated, and compliant with security standards.

• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex, high-priority production issues.

• Support and optimize database environments, including Oracle and PostgreSQL.

• Guide development and operations within AWS cloud environments.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and SecDevOps practices.

• Ensure compliance with code quality, testing, and documentation standards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Support integration tools such as Informatica and reporting tools like Crystal Reports.

• Engage in Agile processes and ensure work is appropriately tracked and prioritized using Jira.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to members of the engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or application support settings.

• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or senior-level role directing architecture and engineering teams.

• Proven experience in a Technical Lead or senior engineering capacity supporting enterprise applications.

• Strong hands-on expertise with:

• Java, Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat

• .NET applications

• SQL development and performance optimization

• Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases

• Experience with applications in AWS or similar cloud environments.

• Familiarity with SecDevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and secure development practices.

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities in complex, high-volume production settings.

• Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities concurrently.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
