This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Accountable for the technical execution alongside customer representatives (information technology, biomedical/clinical engineering/informatics)
• Assists the implementation team in identifying, scheduling, and resolving technical installation and customization challenges as they occur
• Acts as the intermediary between the customer and the Fresenius Kabi technical team for any issues that may arise during the implementation process
• Collaborates with the customer’s technical teams for joint solution development
• Participates in customer technical support team activities as required
• Collects and analyzes data on the installed systems to drive continuous product enhancement initiatives
• Works closely with the Implementation Project Manager to ensure that technical tasks stay on track throughout the project
• Aids in delivering product presentations as needed and provides sales support, including participation in RFI/RFPs and demonstrations
• Works together with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, manufacturing, operations) to establish streamlined customer support solutions
• Collaborates with sales on prospective engagements, RFP responses, and other related activities as needed
• Willing to travel up to 75%
• Bachelor’s degree is required (Biomedical engineering degree is preferred)
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience (experience with medical devices is preferred)
• Experience with FDA compliance is advantageous
• Extensive experience with system installation and support environments within clinical settings
• Significant experience working with customers
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience in providing professional services to clinical environments
• Familiarity with integrating hospital systems, including EMR integration (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
• Experience with web interfaces and APIs utilized by enterprise-level systems
• Working knowledge of Wi-Fi, networking, remote access methods, VPNs, and firewalls
• Understanding of SQL, report generation, and databases
• Experience with regulatory compliance for medical devices (complaint reporting, installation records, service records)
