
Technical Field Representative I – Agriculture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Safely and accurately carry out seasonal product deployment tasks.
• Install Suterra products following established guidelines.
• Organize and assist temporary field personnel during deployment operations.
• Keep precise records of deployments, product inventories, and service documentation.
• Employ mobile applications, GPS, and mapping software to record field activities.
• Aid in seasonal logistics and inventory management processes.
• Help in setting up and maintaining field trials.
• Oversee field trials by gathering trap counts, observations, and other necessary field data.
• Collect samples in accordance with established protocols.
• Foster positive working relationships with growers, distributors, and agricultural collaborators.
• Address routine customer inquiries related to product installation and service.
• Refer technical or product performance issues to the appropriate team members.
• Engage in technical training and continuous professional development.
• A minimum of two years of experience in agriculture, field operations, crop production, customer service, or a related area OR an associate's or bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Science, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication abilities and customer service orientation.
• Capability to work independently while managing an assigned territory.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel extensively across California.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Science, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Internship or field experience in agriculture or agricultural research is preferred.
• Experience with California specialty crops is preferred.
• Familiarity with mobile applications, GPS, or field mapping technology is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
