Technical Developer – Financial Markets FX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and develop FX applications for both backend and frontend layers in accordance with architectural standards.

• Perform technical analysis, generate solution designs, and actively participate in architectural decision-making.

• Establish and maintain integrations with both internal and external systems, which include treasury platforms and market data providers.

• Recognize and implement performance enhancements, emphasizing low-latency processing and optimization of batch processing.

• Engage in code reviews, uphold coding standards, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Assist in testing activities, encompassing SIT and UAT, and aid in planning for production releases.

• Continuously enhance the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of the FX application ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable technical position, preferably within Financial Markets or Capital Markets.

• Strong backend expertise in Java (Spring Boot, multithreading, JVM tuning) or .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core).

• Frontend proficiency in one or more modern frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js, including TypeScript, REST/WebSocket consumption, and responsive UI design.

• Skilled in relational and/or NoSQL databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Redis, or MongoDB.

• Comprehensive understanding of low-latency architectural patterns and techniques (such as lock-free data structures, event-driven design, and message queues).

• Experience with technical analysis, solution design, and documentation of software architecture.

• Practical experience with system integrations - REST, SOAP, messaging (Kafka, MQ), or FTP-based workflows.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
