Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into technical solutions by swiftly grasping client needs and their corresponding system impacts.

• Evaluate, design, document, and deliver interface solutions between client systems and UKG Pro, guaranteeing accuracy, scalability, and performance.

• Create, test, and deploy integrations with UKG Pro, following best practices and project schedules.

• Direct comprehensive data conversion activities, which include interpreting, validating, transforming, and loading data from various HR/Payroll systems into UKG Pro (such as employee, payroll, benefits, contact, dependents, beneficiaries, and historical data).

• Ensure data integrity and compliance by executing meticulous validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.

• Generate detailed post-conversion documentation to facilitate client validation, audit preparedness, and ongoing system reliability.

• Diagnose and resolve data and integration issues promptly, reducing disruptions to project timelines and client operations.

• Maintain precise, current project documentation, ensuring all deliverables are properly recorded and stored.

• Contribute to the effective delivery of enterprise HCM implementations through robust technical expertise and teamwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in data conversion and/or interface development.

• Proficiency in SQL, interface programming, and report writing is essential.

• Strong skills in Excel, including data manipulation, validation, and VLOOKUP functions.

• Experience with HR/Payroll systems such as UKG, Dayforce, Kronos, ADP, PayChex, Workday, and/or others is required.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and balance work across various projects, clients, and consultants simultaneously.

• Capacity to navigate ambiguity and adapt to shifting scope and resource circumstances.
