Inpatient Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Validation and implementation of software modules related to coding and training.

• Collaborating with coding and clinical team members as well as external clients, which includes content creation.

• Aiding in the presentation of clinical and coding concepts to various hospitals and/or organizations, and implementing and supporting Clinical Documentation Integrity programs across multiple facilities.

• Leading audit activities concerning medical record coding, documentation, compliance, and DRG assignment.

• Engaging in relevant corporate programs and initiatives while ensuring adherence to professional, quality, and security standards during the execution of assigned duties, as well as complying with corporate policies and procedures in a manner consistent with Solventum's values and ethical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) along with seven (7) years of experience as a coding professional or in a clinical role, OR a High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and eleven (11) years of clinical or coding experience.

• RHIT with CCS certification and five (5) years of clinical coding experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of CDI experience.

• A valid RN License with five (5) years of acute care experience and a recognized CDI credential from ACDIS (CCDS) or AHIMA (CDIP).

• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
