This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and manage regulatory submissions across primary, secondary, and external testing laboratories; monitor lab turnaround durations and deliver monthly reports on submission volumes and overall testing expenses.
• Take ownership of and enforce the change management process for all platform modifications that necessitate regulatory notification or approval; ensure the accuracy of regulated change repositories and approval statuses across all active jurisdictions.
• Cultivate and sustain up-to-date knowledge of submission and change management requirements for each licensed jurisdiction; revise internal documentation as regulatory requirements change.
• Assist TC Operations tasks including JIRA ticket evaluations, compliance order management tracking, and quarterly project milestone oversight.
• Act as an operational liaison for internal engineering, product, and QA teams regarding compliance requirements; interact with external regulators, independent testing laboratories, and vendors as needed.
• Identify and propose opportunities for automation and process enhancements within submission and change management workflows to facilitate jurisdictional expansion and operational efficiency.
• Participate in assurance monitoring activities during periods of lower submission volume in collaboration with the broader Technical Compliance team.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams during grooming and sprint planning sessions to pinpoint technical compliance needs for new product development; ensure that regulatory obligations are documented and incorporated prior to development commitment.
• Review platform source code and work directly with development and QA teams to assess bugs, code modifications, and platform improvements for regulatory implications; confirm that software builds comply with applicable jurisdictional technical standards before submission or deployment.
• Evaluate and assign regulatory criticality classifications to development tasks, determining the appropriate notification pathways and regulatory disclosure responsibilities for each change across relevant jurisdictions.
• Conduct timely compliance reviews of incidents and emergency change requests; assess regulatory exposure, document findings, and coordinate with engineering and compliance leadership to ensure any necessary regulator notifications or remediation actions are accomplished within required deadlines.
• A bachelor's degree is required; candidates with over 3 years of direct experience in Technical Compliance or a closely related iGaming or online Sports Betting role will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a technical compliance, regulatory submissions, change management, or closely related role within a regulated industry; experience in iGaming or online Sports Betting is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to interpret and implement regulatory submission requirements across various jurisdictions, including coordinating with independent testing laboratories and regulatory agencies.
• Familiarity with gaming regulatory frameworks and technical standards, such as GLI-19 and GLI-33, is a significant advantage.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent submission tracks under competing deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and the ability to comprehend technical product structure, differentiated file classifications, and platform release processes.
• Proficient in JIRA in a deadline-driven setting; high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat; intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the capability to engage professionally with regulators, external testing labs, and senior internal stakeholders.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all necessary gaming licenses across applicable jurisdictions as a condition of employment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted compliance or workflow tools; ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs for regulatory accuracy and identify compliance obligations related to AI-driven platform features.
