Technical Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Provide operational and infrastructure assistance to the development team

• Conduct regular assessments of the health and performance of virtual machines and cloud services

• Execute preventive maintenance activities, system updates, and patches

• Support deployment pipelines, version control, and CI/CD practices

• Manage Kubernetes environments and containerized applications

• Monitor services, metrics, and alerts utilizing observability tools

• Collaborate on networking, firewall, and infrastructure security tasks

• Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production environments

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to infrastructure and platforms

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3–4 years of experience in managing infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Prior experience with administering production cloud environments and DevOps methodologies

• Technical or professional background in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines (preferred)

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, Kubernetes, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage

• Skills in monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty)

• Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD tools (GitLab, ArgoCD, Sonar, Artifactory)

• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL)

• Understanding of networking and security (firewalls, cloud networking concepts, best practices for infrastructure security)
