• Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to integrate assets into the engine.
• Enhance and optimize workflows, content pipelines, and develop tools for artists.
• Write and sustain efficient shaders that align with the game's art direction.
• Assess and resolve art asset inefficiencies, optimizing game performance in partnership with artists and programmers.
• Work alongside design teams by producing mock-ups and prototype assets.
• 5 years of experience in the game development industry.
• Advanced expertise in building and creating tools for Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of modeling, texture, and material creation pipelines.
• Proficient in writing shaders for Unreal Engine.
• Awareness of technical limitations within art creation pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with art teams to fulfill the game's artistic vision.
• Familiarity with content creation software such as 3ds Max, Maya, Substance, or Photoshop.
• Good grasp of procedural content generation and machine learning.
• Work from home (anywhere in the US)!
