This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as a strategic advisor and expert on Salesforce products and platforms for the company's largest and most intricate enterprise clients.
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for clients.
• Identify and spearhead internal strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the consulting practice.
• Contribute to the knowledge base and expertise within the community.
• Guide clients and colleagues in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies that enhance business value.
• Explain complex concepts and provide innovative, prescriptive insights.
• Proactively identify and manage risk areas, ensuring complete resolution.
• Oversee customer expectations and negotiate solutions to intricate problems with clients and third-party partners.
• Review and adjust project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to ensure programs remain on track and solutions are sustainable and maintainable.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions.
• Contribute to program vision and provide counsel on project strategies involving enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform.
• Willingness to travel based on client needs.
• Experience in the Public Sector industry.
• Minimum of 8 years in enterprise architecture or consulting roles.
• At least 4 years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects.
• Strong skills in application design.
• Proficient in data, integration, and security architecture.
• Excellent presentation abilities, with the capability to present and defend viewpoints to diverse audiences.
• Quick to learn and adapt to new concepts, business models, and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create materials tailored to specific audiences.
• Effective communication with individuals in various roles.
• Capability to analyze, design, and enhance business processes through technology and integration.
• Resourceful and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience with integration concepts, designs, and patterns.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Government Security Clearance; active clearance is not necessary at the application or interview stage.
• Reliability Clearance requires 5 years of verifiable work and residence history, typically from within Canada.
• Secret Clearance requires 10 years of verifiable work and residence history, generally from within Canada.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
• Equivalent demonstrable work experience can be considered in place of a degree.
• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade clients regarding best practices at various organizational levels.
• Background in application design and development.
• A robust background in Enterprise Architecture is advantageous.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications are preferred.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Agentforce for Developers, along with an understanding of their strengths and limitations.
• Proven experience leading a technical team or workstream.
• Capability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, senior technology leaders, and key decision-makers.
• Experience in defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform is a significant advantage.
