Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Perform a feasibility assessment for all new projects.

• Recommend tools and technologies based on client needs.

• Evaluate and comprehend technical challenges during the requirements phase.

• Organize internal meetings to discuss the technology stack and finalize all technical components with the client.

• Review and validate estimates provided by the team.

• Create high-level design flows, Technical Design Documents, and Process Flow Diagrams.

• Assist the Infrastructure team in establishing infrastructure setups according to client specifications.

• Provide support for migration to new tools, technologies, and updates.

• Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) on proposed new tools and clarify why these tools/technologies are preferable compared to others.

• Offer continuous coaching and support to project teams on technical matters and improvements.

• Take ownership of technical challenges that affect delivery.

• Assist in resolving technical issues while considering delivery timelines.

• Engage with clients regarding high-level technical project aspects and handle escalations, if necessary.

• Hold daily catch-ups with the team to ensure they are on the right path and provide guidance as needed.

• Establish appropriate processes for various facets of the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Educate, train, and mentor team members to adhere to these processes.

• Continuously explore the Tools & Technology landscape to identify the latest and most suitable options to achieve scalability, performance, security, and overall client satisfaction.

• Train the team on utilizing third-party frameworks and understanding licensing agreements.

• Guide the team in learning about new technology updates such as native and cross-platform tools like Flutter and React Native.

• Assist in recruitment to identify suitable candidates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Architect.

• Over 12 years of software development experience with a minimum of 3 years in an architectural role across various platforms including web and mobile applications.

• Proficient in designing Application & Product Architecture, Automation, Conversational Bots, and the transformation and cloudification of applications, as well as DevOps, application security, and engineering using RESTful APIs and Microservices.

• Experience in designing applications using cloud technologies such as AWS.

• Strong knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and NoSQL databases.

• Expertise in software engineering principles, object-oriented design, security, data interchange, and data management.

• Experience with distributed architectures and services, including external vendor integration.

• Evaluate and suggest tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to guide team members in identifying root causes of issues.

• Comprehensive understanding of agile development methodologies and experience leading software development teams in an Agile/Lean environment.

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design principles for web and mobile applications.

• Knowledge of data integration tools such as Informatica, AWS Glue, and other ETL tools or open-source technologies.

• Preferred experience working with the infrastructure architecture team to integrate necessary support and automation in development.

• Preferred experience in enterprise product development life cycles.
