This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.
• Act as an automated test developer using Selenium for Momentum testing projects.
• Create, develop, and sustain automated testing frameworks that comply with enterprise standards.
• Assess and suggest automation strategies, tools, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency and reduce testing complexity.
• Aid in the creation of automated testing solutions utilizing Selenium along with a variety of software development languages and tools.
• Ensure that automated testing solutions are version-controlled, traceable, and thoroughly documented.
• Set up, maintain, and upgrade the environments for automation tools and associated plugins.
• Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, and other automation applications) to facilitate continuous testing and repeatability.
• Oversee test environment connectivity, data dependencies, and tool access for both technical and testing teams.
• Assist the testing automation team in achieving superior testing outcomes and complete traceability between test scripts and the requirements traceability matrix.
• A Bachelor’s degree along with 5 years of experience in software development or software engineering.
• Practical Technical/Development Experience with Selenium and/or Java.
• Familiarity with installing, maintaining, and utilizing CI/CD Automation tools like Jenkins or Job Schedulers such as Control-M.
• Experience in Agile Development environments.
• Proficient in Groovy, Java, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages commonly employed within automation frameworks.
• Experience in automated API testing using tools such as Postman and/or SoapUI.
• Background in working within or supporting federal agencies or highly regulated settings.
• Capability to operate within multi-environment federal testing ecosystems (e.g., DEV, TEST, UAT, PreProd).
• Strong comprehension of API and GUI testing functionalities.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Ability to analyze test failures and conduct root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Eligibility to obtain a public trust clearance.
