This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• **Primary Responsibilities**
• - **Environment Alignment & Health Checks**
• - Conduct regular health evaluations for assigned clients utilizing RMM, monitoring tools, and checklists.
• - Identify misalignments in firewalls, backups, licensing, server health, Microsoft 365, and endpoint compliance.
• - Deliver structured reports to vCTOs detailing risks, gaps, and actionable recommendations.
• - Manage support escalations that necessitate L3 technical expertise.
• - Ensure proactive alignment and remediation in the following key areas:
• - **Windows Server & Active Directory/Entra ID** – Assess domain health, replication, GPOs, DNS/DHCP settings, user/role management, and Entra ID synchronization.
• - **Office 365 & Azure** – Analyze configuration, licensing, security policies, conditional access, and backup solutions to guarantee compliance with best practices.
• - **Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)** – Oversee host/server health, cluster configurations, storage, networking, and failover capabilities.
• - **Networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, Firewalls, VPNs)** – Confirm firewall rules, VLAN segmentation, site-to-site/client VPNs, and monitor for security or performance anomalies.
• - **Endpoint Management (Intune, Compliance & Conditional Access)** – Evaluate device enrollment, compliance policies, Intune settings, patch/update compliance, and conditional access enforcement.
• - **Documentation Excellence**
• - Maintain and enhance documentation in IT Glue and Autotask.
• - Resolve inconsistencies and ensure a “single source of truth” across all client environments.
• - Develop repeatable playbooks and process documentation for future use.
• - **Analysis & Standards Enforcement**
• - Detect systemic issues and recurring misalignments across various clients.
• - Propose remediation strategies and contribute insights to Project Initiation Documents (PIDs).
• - Provide feedback to refine GXA’s alignment methodology and technical standards.
• - **Collaboration & Support**
• - Collaborate with vCTOs by providing accurate, actionable data for QBRs and strategic client interactions.
• - Work in conjunction with Centralized Services, Service Desk, and Security teams to ensure adherence to standards.
• - Mentor junior team members and assist in enhancing GXA’s technical maturity.
• **Success Measures (Key Accountabilities)**
• - **Improved Technical Alignment** – Client environments consistently comply with GXA standards.
• - **Reduced Reactive Noise** – Diminish recurring tickets and escalations by identifying issues early.
• - **Documentation Excellence** – Ensure IT Glue and Autotask are accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive.
• - **Analytical Insight** – Reports and data directly inform vCTO strategies and client roadmaps.
• - **Standards Advancement** – GXA’s standards evolve through TAE feedback and real-world observations.
• - **Operational Consistency** – Deliver health checks and documentation punctually and accurately.
• - **Team Enablement** – vCTOs and service teams depend on the TAE’s data to enhance client experience.
• - **Professional Growth** – Advance towards certifications, heightened technical mastery, and leadership in standards enforcement.
• **Technical Must-Haves**
• 7+ years of experience in IT systems/network engineering at an L4 level.
• - Advanced proficiency with:
• - **Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Office 365, Azure**
• - **Virtualization and Storage (VMware/Hyper-V)**
• - **Networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs)**
• - **Intune, endpoint compliance, and conditional access policies**
• - Strong skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem resolution.
• - Demonstrated capability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• - Methodical, detail-oriented, and disciplined approach to work.
• **Preferred / Developmental Goals**
• - Familiarity with RMM tools (Kaseya, N-able) and IT Glue/Autotask.
• - Contributions towards technical standards and alignment libraries.
• - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or equivalent experience (7+ years).
