This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Act as the main technical liaison, fostering trust and building robust relationships within paper mill accounts.
• Provide strategic guidance, share best practices, and offer proactive recommendations for product implementation and enhancement.
• Tackle intricate product-related inquiries, swiftly resolve issues, and minimize disruptions to the customer’s operations.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of DuBois’ specialty chemical solutions as well as the unique technical environments of our customers.
• Educate clients on new features and optimal practices to encourage effective product adoption and utilization.
• Collaborate closely with the District Sales Manager to formulate strategic account plans and manage an opportunity pipeline in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
• Conduct technical check-ins and actively engage during Business Reviews, ensuring clear measurement and communication of the value provided by DuBois’ solutions.
• Work effectively with both the customer and our internal teams (Sales, Service, R&D, Portfolio Management) to ensure we fulfill our commitments to the customer.
• Relay consistent feedback from customers to the Portfolio Management and Research & Development teams.
• Maintain a regular presence at customer sites to guarantee adequate service and support coverage, prevent churn, and enhance sales and profitability.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience with Paper and Pulp specialty chemical solutions, technical support, and account management is essential.
• Exceptional customer service skills to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with clients.
• Capability to address customers’ technical challenges and assist in improvement processes using product expertise.
• Document and share service insights for each customer visit within the CRM system.
• Goal-oriented and proactive in pursuing new business opportunities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in conducting technical/mechanical on-site testing.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as strong presentation abilities.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and analytical tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including overnight trips.
