Technical Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Provide support for delivery and consulting services to ensure effective design and implementation of Veeam Software solutions.

• Offer comprehensive project management guidance, including project plans, schedules, communication strategies, resource allocations, and status updates.

• Assist in assessing and designing solutions, along with addressing post-installation challenges.

• Help estimate the effort required for implementing Veeam Software solutions.

• Develop white papers, solution guides, best practices, and custom documentation.

• Conduct onsite knowledge transfer sessions regarding Veeam Software solutions.

• Maintain documentation of configurations and completed tasks.

• Analyze existing environments and recommend optimal configurations for Veeam Software.

• Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support teams.

• Identify additional client needs that can be addressed with Veeam Software solutions.

• Provide recommendations for process improvements and documentation enhancements.

• Be prepared for overnight travel to achieve company goals and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.

• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent credentials.

• Certification in Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or comparable experience.

• A Bachelor's Degree in technology is required (consideration will be given to a combination of education and experience).

• Practical experience with Veeam's core products.

• Demonstrated expertise in consulting and project management.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.

• Exceptional presentation capabilities.

• In-depth experience and knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.

• Familiarity with disruptive storage systems and technologies (e.g., Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam, etc.).

• Hands-on knowledge of networking protocols and equipment (Fiber Channel, Ethernet, Cloud services).

• Experience with traditional storage and backup systems (e.g., EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell, etc.).

• Practical experience with enterprise applications (such as Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc.).

• Knowledge of data management, data protection, and data analytics.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes platforms.

• Extensive experience with data centers, business continuity, and operating systems.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and accounts concurrently.

• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols.

• Understanding of security technologies and concepts.
