Technical Account Manager – ANZ

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Act as the Trusted Advisor - You will function as the technical liaison for a portfolio of Island customers, guiding them throughout their journey from onboarding to operational excellence.

• Support & Troubleshooting - Proactively oversee and assist with support cases, feature requests, and escalations. You will initiate, monitor, and drive resolution while keeping customers informed at every stage.

• Enablement & Training - Educate customer teams on how to effectively deploy, manage, and operationalize Island using best practices that ensure their long-term success.

• Configuration & Optimization - Assist customers in maximizing their use of Island by providing tailored configuration guidance that aligns with their specific security, performance, and usability objectives.

• Feature & Release Guidance - Keep customers updated on upcoming releases and new features, demonstrating how these enhancements can benefit their teams.

• Collaborate Across Teams - Work alongside Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success to deliver a cohesive customer experience and provide insights that shape the product roadmap.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical account management, solutions engineering, or a post-sales technical role within the software or cybersecurity sectors.

• A robust technical background with experience in supporting enterprise IT products, preferably SaaS or security platforms.

• Proven track record in managing customer escalations, support tickets, and technical project management.

• Outstanding communication skills — capable of clearly conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient with tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and remote collaboration platforms.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred.
